Can contanct lenses worsen eyesight?

If your prescription is correct, it will not worsen your eyesight. I used to go to an optometrist who gave me contacts that were too strong, based on my glasses prescription. They actually need to make your prescription weaker because of the difference in distance between the eye and the contact lens or glasses lens. ∠°)
