Hormone imbalance? HELP!?

I am a 14 year old girl and I have hair growth on my back, belly and butt. I have seen theories of it being a hormone imbalance, but I want to make sure, because all of my friends only have peach fuzz in those areas, but I have 1/2 inch hair in those ares. Should I go to a doctor?
