My mom says chemicals are not good for your hair in the long run?!!?

hmm..i ve recently soft straigtned my hair..no hair fall nthin.,.hair s absolutly gorgeous nd fine ! and i love my soft hair too..but my mom says it may be fine now but not in the long run baby ! i m reli scared..i use lo'real neofibrin shampoo nd conditioner..i feel my hair is healthy..my mom says chemicals generly harm ur hair..bt i use chemicals [shampoo , conditioner] nd since i ve straightnd my hair i dont use oil , i use only serum [lo'real liss and ultime] i mean wat !? my hair is fyn but hw do u say i spoil my hair mom!!! thts wat i wantd to ask her..i see the actress they do soo much of hairstylin , colourin and all..but they do hav good hair evn wen they re old!! wats gono happen to my hair ?! do chemicals reli harm ur hair guys ?!
